Cruise but make it cute?! That’s how we do it at Eden. It’s in our DNA that whenever we travel together, it can never be ‘just a trip’. It’s an experience from beginning to end!
HERE’S 5 WAYS WE KICKED UP OUR TEAM CRUISE TO MEXICO:
IT STARTED AT A CHRISTMAS FIESTA…
How else do you tell your team you’re going on a weeklong cruise to Mexico besides throwing a Christmas fiesta, right?! We held our annual ‘holiday dinner’ together and as everyone walked in, they were immediately greeted with sombreros, mariachi band music and a taco bar. Oh, and tequila!
Of course the gifts all night long were themed around our upcoming surprise. Magnetic taco and hot sauce?! Heck yeah. How about a cute little chihuahua notebook and ‘Pedro the Sloth’ book. Yup, all signs pointed to one thing.
A snowman pinata filled with pesos and the grand reveal… EDEN TAKES MEXICO ON A CRUISE!
Yes, we make our team work for their surprises. Everyone played hangman to figure out what the final gift of the night would be.
ONCE ON BOARD, THE FUN CONTINUES WITH DOOR SIGNS AND ITINERARIES.
Before we left for Mexico, we created a themed itinerary and door signs complete with colorful pompoms!

Though no one asked, we wanted to make it extra clear that we were a gang. That’s how we travel!
Matching hola shirts and canvas totes? YUP! Plus, we even went a step further and brought matching Eden bags to make sure we’d be in lock step the whole way through Mazatlan.
GETTING CRAFTY ON THE SHIP!
Towards the end of the cruise, the door signs magically disappeared one night. Huh?? We were all perplexed as to where they went. Low and behold, our crafty crew had their own plans! They cut up the door signs, the daily bulletins, maps and more to create decor for our final night on the ship.
When you’re sailing on the wide open sea, you have to get resourceful! For our final night, we held an “awards ceremony” and crowned Juju and Roy as the cruise King and Queen. Their crowns? A sailors hat from the gift shop for Roy and a hand made crown for Juju. Can you tell what we used??
