Ahhh SPRING… the season when my favorite shades come out to play. PASTELS. #swoon
And the blooms? Unreal. I love everything about spring — the colors, the softness, the fresh-start energy.
So when it came time to design Eden’s annual Easter drop, you already know I leaned all the way in. My dream pastel palette? Check. The cutest little bunny besties? Obviously. We even invited chicken, chick, and ducky to the party — and together they’re basically shouting: “SPRING HAS SPRUNG!”
Now for the plot twist.
I have resisted the palaka craze for so long. Don’t ask me why — I just couldn’t commit. But one day, during a management meeting, the team started chanting “PLAID! PLAID! PLAID!” and I thought… fine. Let’s try it.
I tucked a soft palaka pattern into the background of our spring design and—
Collective gasp.
IT. WAS. PERFECT.
And just like that…

I’m secretly terrified of chickens. And fine, ducks too! I’m sorry!!!
They’re cute from afar and I really don’t mind them… it’s just the thought of them flapping their wings and chasing me has me spiraling from 10 feet away. But the craziest thing? CHAR has no fear. She chases them so they run towards me, she quacks at ducks so they follow us and she’s HELD chicks and chickens on numerous occasions. EEP! And you know who else is the BIGGEST chicken lover I know? LIV.
Let’s just say, my fear gear is constantly on when I’m near them both!
Our Easter must haves

Was I the only one that didn’t realize we no longer stuff plastic eggs with Hershey’s kisses and candies???
I learned my lesson last year and had some majorly melted chocolate oozing in eggs in my tote. This year? I’m only grabbing these non-candy options.
