INGREDIENTS
• 4 cans of Van Camps pork and beans
• 1 package red hot dogs
• 2 Portuguese sausage: one hot and one mild (this is the secret to layering the flavors)
• 1 white onion
• bacon: optional
• 4 tablespoons brown sugar
• BBQ sauce: 1 firm squeeze
HOW TO:
1. Mix all meats until brown on high. Add in onions until clear, then add in beans, sugar and sauce.
2. Simmer for 15 minutes on low.
3. In the meantime, make a pot of rice. There’s nothing better than hot rice with a scoop of warm pork and beans!
4. Serve in a bowl with a bowl hugger ’cause eat pork and beans, make it cute! LOL.
